How to grow peonies?
Peonies appear in three different types: herbaceous, or garden peonies, tree peonies that grow into bushes and Itoh, or intersectional peonies. It depends on the climate zone you live in, which peony suits well in your area. If you are looking for an extended flowering season, combine different types of peonies, if your living area provides the right growing conditions. All peonies take time to establish, but once they’re established, they steal the show in every garden! Peonies are perfect for cut flowers in bouquets. Peonies don’t like to be moved. Moving them will affect growth. Plant peonies in autumn so the roots have enough time to establish.
